Engagement Session? Do we have to?

The engagement session is a private portrait session taken before your wedding. Many couples use these pictures in their announcements and guestbooks. If you choose a package with an included custom guest book this is where the picture for that book will come from. If not then the engagement session isn't necessary - many couples do choose to opt out - but I highly recommend it. This is a chance for us to get to know eachother a little more as well as to learn how we will work together behind the camera.

When do we book the Engagement Session?

You can book your engagement session anytime that you like from the week you have booked your wedding to the month of your wedding. If you would like the pictures back for your guestbook or announcements give yourself a little time so that there will be ample time for everything to get done. Generally you will get your Engagement pictures back in 1-2 weeks so you can plan from there. :)

I think I know what package I want, what if I change my mind?

I always say that you should pick the package that you know you want and then upgrade to a better one anytime before your wedding if you decide that you would like more. I don't charge anything extra to upgrade to a higher package so take your time. :)

What do I need to do to book my wedding photography with you?

Once we've met up and talked about your wedding you can mail in your contract with a $200 deposit which will hold your day for you.

How long after my wedding will I have to wait to see my pictures?

Very soon! I know that everyone is anxious and excited to see their wedding pictures - afterall I was too! ;) So I make it my goal to get your wedding pictures back to you as soon as possible. You'll have a sneak peek of your wedding photography on my blog within a week of your wedding and your full online gallery within just 2 weeks. Your Wedding DVD set will be in the mail within a month of your wedding day.
