Susannah and Chris got married this weekend! So you’ve seen their rehearsal dinner (fabulous!!!) and now here is their wedding photography Sneak Peek! Susannah and Chris carried on their tour of St. Louis theme right into their wedding stopping at Forest Park for pictures, Ted Drewe’s for a little wedding pary treat and finally settling in for an evening of incredible live music at the Lemp Mansion in downtown St. Louis. The highlight of the wedding – while there were so many things to love, my favorite part had to be the groom stopping during their first dance to grab the microphone so that he could seranade his bride to their own love song. Awwwww!!! All in all – an amazing wedding for a very happy couple. Congratulation Susannah and Chris!!!

So have you ever thought to yourself, how can I make my rehearsal dinner really unique and fun? Susannah and Chris took their rehearsal dinner seriously and wanted to have a fun place for all their family and out of town guests as well. Saratoga Lanes in Maplewood was their location where their guests could play darts, pool and bowl for the evening while they relax and celebrate. For the catering they choose to have a little of all the classic St. Louis dishes such as toasted ravioli, Imo’s pizza and Gus’s Pretzels. The toasting was sweet and ended with a gift of matching bowling shirts for the hapy couple. How fun!

The Hawken House in Webster Groves was the backdrop for Alaina and Matt’s wedding this past Saturday. They choose to have a simple wedding and took do-it-yourself to a most elegant level. From the flowers, the homemade vases on each table to the after dinner mints made by the mother of the groom just for the ocassion everything was such a lovely statement. I’m so happy for Alaina and Matt!! Congratulations!!!

This weekend was cold – again.
And I had another great couple that was willing to brave the cold for their engagement pictures! I love all the snow! Ok, well I don’t love it so much when I’m driving but it is so dreamy in pictures! We headed out to Faust park and walked through the historic village in the snow, laughed, danced and even had a snow ball fight! Now who said having your pictures taken couldn’t be fun!! Thanks so much to Rachel and Theron for a fabulous Sunday afternoon!

This Sunday Alaina, Matt and I went to the Hill for a cold, yet fun engagement photography session. Alaina and Matt are such a happy couple that despite the freezing temperatures they still had fun the whole time! I’m super excited for them and can’t wait to shoot their spring wedding! I love being a wedding photographer. You get to be included on one of the most important days of a couple’s lives. It’s so thrilling and I feel so lucky to be able to work at something I love so much! This last Saturday was Cristina and Nick’s beautiful wedding. The ceremony took place in the Old Peace Chapel at the historic site of Daniel Boone’s home in Defiance MO. It’s a very simple no-nonsense chapel and made for a very classic location. And to top off the scene the leaves have just really starting changing this last week which made for some colorful and fun bridal portraits! Thanks so much to Cristina and Nick for including me in their special day!
