To finish off the October wedding extravaganza was Stacey and Brad’s beautiful outdoor wedding at the St. Peter’s Gazebo. We then got to head out to the Katy Trail (lol, silly me but I’ve always loved that name) where we encountered more than a few bikers taking advantage of the lovely weather. Next on to a little hidden park – honestly, there’s no address for it! Hide-a-way harbor is this little park right off of the river that looks across to the bluffs in Grafton, IL and it was a really great setting for some wedding portraits. Finally the reception at the Trinity Lutheran School in St. Charles was wonderful! Stacey and Brad completely embraced the Halloween spirit with their table settings – pumkins carved with their wedding date, their names, hearts and more where on all the tables. Fabulous touch! But I think the most unique thing about this wedding was the cake topper. Stacey and Brad had a custom one made to not only match them, but also to match their wedding clothes!! Super fun! Congrats to Stacey and Brad!!!

Last weekend was Sofie and Andy’s beautiful wedding at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. We started off the day very early so that they could have the traditional tea ceremony before their wedding ceremony. At their reception the bride’s sister gifted her with another tradition as a surprise – the lion dance. These guys were so much fun! Finally we headed to the St. Louis Arch for some great wedding portraits. Congrats to Sofie and Andy!!

I’m so excited to post this! Alicia and Matt had a beautiful wedding this last Saturday at the Westhill Community Church in Chesterfield followed by a trip to the Arch (fun!!) and an amazing reception at the Robert Mayfair Hotel in downtown St. Louis. The whole day was gorgeous and was so much fun! My favorite part of the day? Hard to choose, but if I had to I think that the Cinderella-type carriage ride (a wedding gift from the bride’s sister – soo sweet!) would definitely rank up there with one of the cutest and fun ways to get to your reception. Thanks sooo much to Alicia and Matt and congratulations!!!!!!!

This holiday weekend was Rachel and Theron’s wedding weekend! They had such a unique wedding venue – the Sheldon Concert Hall! We headed to Tower Grove Park for some portraits before their late afternoon wedding but rather than sticking to the traditional ruins there we went off the beaten path to find a spot where the leaves are already turning for some shots with lots of color. Then back to the Sheldon for their intimate ceremony followed by a fabulous reception. I loved their subtle Cardinals theme throughout the day with the STL pin on Rachel’s bouquet, the red color theme, baseball mason jar center peices and even Theron’s cufflinks. Congratulations to Rachel and Theron!!!

This weekend I got to meet up with Alicia and Matt for their engagement photography session at Lafayette Park. I absolutely loved their attire! Excellent choices! We had some fun bumming around the park, wished on a few eyelashes, danced a bit, ran through some rain (yes, lol, more rain for this session too!) and then wound up hanging out in front of a school. Thanks so much to Alicia and Mat for a fabulous evening!

This holiday weekend Amy and Tyler had their sophisticated wedding at Moulin Events in St. Louis. I love that it was so close to Layfayette park we could (but didn’t, don’t be crazy! Did you see those temperatures!!) walk and still had all kind of urban style. That with the holiday fun – you couldn’t go wrong! Thanks so much to Amy and Tyler for a great Saturday and congratulations!!!!

This last Friday was Amy and Tyler’s rehearsal dinner at Tyler’s family home in St. Peters. They brought in catering so that everyone could relax and have fun! Speaking of fun – they had a chocolate fountain with all the fun snacks that you love to dip! For centerpieces – they had little fish bowls with goldfish swiming around beads of their wedding colors. Love it!!! Thanks so much to Amy and Tyler for a great evening and I can’t wait to share their wedding sneak peek later in the week!

This last weekend was Shawn and Steve’s special day. Their wedding at the Holy Infant Catholic Church in Ballwin was spectacular! I love how bright the church is thanks to the great skylight they have! And you could tell that everyone was so happy for them – there was so much happy emotion in the church. Their reception – held at the Landing at Spirit Golf Club in Chesterfield – was stylish to a tee. The mom’s of both the bride and groom had made the couples favorite cookies and every guest had one of each waiting for them at their table. The cake was adorable with the figurines showing the clever way that Steve had proposed – loved it!! Then there was the music – dueling pianos!! I was super impressed and the crowd certainly enjoyed. Thanks so much to Shawn and Steve for a great Saturday and congratulations again!!!

Susannah and Chris got married this weekend! So you’ve seen their rehearsal dinner (fabulous!!!) and now here is their wedding photography Sneak Peek! Susannah and Chris carried on their tour of St. Louis theme right into their wedding stopping at Forest Park for pictures, Ted Drewe’s for a little wedding pary treat and finally settling in for an evening of incredible live music at the Lemp Mansion in downtown St. Louis. The highlight of the wedding – while there were so many things to love, my favorite part had to be the groom stopping during their first dance to grab the microphone so that he could seranade his bride to their own love song. Awwwww!!! All in all – an amazing wedding for a very happy couple. Congratulation Susannah and Chris!!!

So have you ever thought to yourself, how can I make my rehearsal dinner really unique and fun? Susannah and Chris took their rehearsal dinner seriously and wanted to have a fun place for all their family and out of town guests as well. Saratoga Lanes in Maplewood was their location where their guests could play darts, pool and bowl for the evening while they relax and celebrate. For the catering they choose to have a little of all the classic St. Louis dishes such as toasted ravioli, Imo’s pizza and Gus’s Pretzels. The toasting was sweet and ended with a gift of matching bowling shirts for the hapy couple. How fun!
