What else would you want your photography to be? Corny as it may sound I believe in making photographs that will be your treasured memories for years and hopefully generations to come. And I believe you should be totally at ease and yourself when we catch those memories.

This weekend I got to meet up with the Brownlow ladies for some family photography at Creve Coeur Park – on another side of the lake this time. It’s amazing how different the landscape can be all relatively close to one another. We had fun hanging out by the lake and even found a cool bridge to get some shots on! So talk about a fun present for their mom! This family decided that they wanted to gift their mom a photography session for Christmas. I was kind of excited to be in on the surprise as their mom wasn’t let in on the surprise until I pulled my camera out of the car at Creve Coeur Park. Talk about lucky! We ended up deciding on using the Butterfly house for Jessica’s senior portraits and sure enough just was we walked in it started raining outside. So we got to hang out with the butterflies to get some great senior portraits for Jessica and a few extra family pictures as well – so hard to resist photographing such a cutie! I was so excited to have a great Saturday morning! I can’t believe how great the weather was for our sister photography session at Bee Tree Park. Perfect setting for these two lovely ladies. I couldn’t get enough of the younger sister! So adorable and the best part was when she was walking around telling me where all the good photography spots were… and she was pretty much right on to where I wanted to go. Not sure if she liked the idea of taking the pictures or actually being the model more… I guess time will tell. Thanks so much to the Hoffman family for a fun morning!

Trying to make an appointment during the week this week was tough but we managed to find time for the White family’s newborn photography session this week. I was so excited to hear they were expecting since I shot their wedding just over a year ago! This session turned out to be doubly important since the happy dad will be deployed soon – hence the early holiday decor. Thanks sooo much to the White family for having me back to photograph another important event and congratulations!!
