Megan + Todd – the Engagement

In the midst of all these family sessions this weekend was Megan and Todd’s engagement photography session at New Town in St. Charles. We only walked around the block but there were tons of photo ops! LoL – almost too many to choose from. Thanks to Megan and Todd for a fun afternoon and congratulations on their engagement!!

Alicia + Chris- Engagement

And Sunday evening I got to meet with a new bride and groom to-be Alicia and Chris for their engagement photography session in Kirkwood. We met just when the sun was going down so we had amazing light! I’m super excited about their winter wedding!

Sofie + Andy – the Engagement

This past weekend I got to meet up with Sofie and Andy for their engagement session. We opted to go to the Grand Basin at Forest Park for some variety and some clean white bridge shots. Lucky us – it was also the day of the Forest Park Balloon Glow 2011. So we went on a little adventure, walking with the masses to the Central Fields in forest park in the hopes of getting some unique engagement photography shots. Alicia + Matt – the engagement session

This weekend I got to meet up with Alicia and Matt for their engagement photography session at Lafayette Park. I absolutely loved their attire! Excellent choices! We had some fun bumming around the park, wished on a few eyelashes, danced a bit, ran through some rain (yes, lol, more rain for this session too!) and then wound up hanging out in front of a school. Shawn + Steve – the Family Photography

So Shawn and Steve choose to do a shoot with their family after their wedding rather than a traditional engagement shoot at Castlewood State Park in Ballwin. I thought that was rather sweet of them and their families were both fabulous! My one regret – not realizing sooner that we were far to close to a nest of mosquitos! Good thing we worked fast. Thanks so much to both family for a great afternoon.

Susannah + Chris – the Engagement Session

So, after a couple of rescheduling issues due to weather I was able to get together with Susannah and Chris for their engagement photography session this week. As it turned out we ended up changing locations and playing in the rain and inevitably a waterfall as well… So it seems we were destined to get wet. Thanks so much to Susannah and Chris for a fun evening and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding next month!

Stacey + Brad – the Engagement Session

This week I got to meet up with Stacey and Brad for their engagement photography session. While it was a little chilly (come back warm weather, come back!!!) , we were happy to see the sun come out for some really great warm, sunset shots. And I love being able to shoot in open fields… sooo much fun!! I’m so excited to be their photographer for their fall wedding! Thanks so much to Stacey and Brad for a great evening!

Rachel and Theron Engagement Session

This weekend was cold – again. And I had another great couple that was willing to brave the cold for their engagement pictures! I love all the snow! Ok, well I don’t love it so much when I’m driving but it is so dreamy in pictures! We headed out to Faust park and walked through the historic village in the snow, laughed, danced and even had a snow ball fight! Now who said having your pictures taken couldn’t be fun!! on the Hill – Alaina and Matt’s Engagement Session

This Sunday Alaina, Matt and I went to the Hill for a cold, yet fun engagement photography session. Alaina and Matt are such a happy couple that despite the freezing temperatures they still had fun the whole time! I’m super excited for them and can’t wait to shoot their spring wedding! Stephanie + Ben Engagement Sneak Peek

So, for Friday the 13th Stephanie and Ben had their engagement session. It was hot!!! And these guys were like model pros dressed in jeans and no complaints the whole way! Very impressive if I do say so myself. I’m super excited to have done their engagement shoot and can’t wait to photograph their wedding this fall!!
