Oh I really do love newborn sessions! This last weekend (Mother’s day weekend!!!) I got to meet up with such a sweet family and their new addition – Ava. She is sooo tiny! And I just love all those cute little newborn wrinkles. Thanks so much to little Miss Ava’s family and congratulations again!

Last weekend I got to meet up with Allie and Dan outside of Busch Stadium for their engagement portrait session. It was so much fun! We meet up just when the light was getting absolutely gorgeous! And to boot Allie and Dan were willing to head on over to a parking garage for some more unique lighting shots! Yep – you’d never believe where you can find some of the best spots for pictures. Thanks sooo much to Allie and Dan for a really fun afternoon! Can’t wait for their wedding!!!

Stevie and Brett went all out for their wedding at Cedar Lake Cellars Winery this last weekend! There are sooo many great details! They had the most unique guestbook that I’ve seen yet and the entrance to the winery had their vows lining the way. Stevie and Brett also carved their initials into the cutting board that their cake sat on. Soooo sweet! And, despite the rain and quick run to the safety of the barn (yep, storm warnings actually brought the wedding to a halt just before it began!) their wedding was beautiful! Congratulation to Stevie and Brett!!!

Friday night was a blast! Dana and Mike had an intimate ceremony at Royal Orleans and I can’t lie – I may have shed a happy tear or two. Afterwards we wondered around the building for some fun portraits where one of the groomsmen really got into the act. Finally the reception was a blast! I was so excited to get the opportunity to take professional First Holy Communion pictures for Grace this weekend at St. Catherine Laboure in St. Louis. Grace was such a trooper! She had to deal with major winds all morning, but I think it made for some really fun shots. Another bonus for the morning – a fire truck parked right outside the church. Now I ask you, how many kids get to have a fire truck in their First Holy Communion pictures? Thanks so much to Grace and her family for a great morning and congratulations to Grace!

This weekend I got to meet up with Dana and Michael for their engagement session at Jefferson Barracks… which also happens to be the spot where they got engaged!! I’d hoped we might see a deer since it plays in soooo well with their story but I guess it wasn’t in the cards for us that day. This couple is so much fun and the laughter is very genuine. I love the Botanical Gardens! There are soooo many different places for great pictures around every corner! So I was really excited to be meeting up with the Tessier family for another baby photography session at the Botanical Gardens. We walked all around the park and even got some shots at the dock – which by the way has no railing is in fairly narrow. Lucky for us it didn’t phase this little guy at all. Thanks so much to the Tessier family for a great morning!
