I have always had a passion for the arts.  Since having my three children, I have become impassioned to capture the everyday moments that make motherhood so special.  The quirky smile of my daughter as she played in the flowers and my sons' non-stop giggling were what made my heart stop with joy and I wanted to keep those memories and share them with my children as they grew up. 

Thus began my quest to learn serious photography.  In the years since I've caught tears, laughter, mishaps and many triumphant feats of our little ones on film.  As I learned, I found other parents that wanted the same keepsakes of their children - not the generic pictures from the local photomart that miss all the life the pictures had been intended to hold.  And so Katie Beach Photography was born.

I love being a part of so many lives and feel privileged to be asked to capture the moments of our lives that make the real difference.
